Take the attached image of my fantasy character and turn it into a polished Magic: The Gathering-style custom card.

Preserve the character’s recognizable appearance, equipment, colors, symbols, and general personality. Use the attached image as the main visual reference, but adapt the composition as necessary so it works well inside a trading-card art box.

First, infer an appropriate MTG mechanical identity from the character. Choose:

  • suitable colors / color identity;
  • mana cost;
  • card name and epithet;
  • legendary creature type;
  • power/toughness;
  • 2–4 abilities that reflect the character’s personality, fighting style, magic, religion, profession, companions, or notable traits;
  • an appropriate rarity, preferably rare or mythic rare for major characters;
  • a short flavor text.

The mechanics should feel like a plausible real MTG card. Make it powerful and distinctive, but avoid obviously broken mana efficiency. Use normal MTG wording conventions where possible.

Then generate the full card visually.

Card presentation

Create a complete vertical fantasy trading card with:

  • ornate MTG-inspired frame;
  • appropriate frame colors for the card’s color identity;
  • name bar and mana symbols;
  • large illustrated art box;
  • type line;
  • readable rules text;
  • flavor text;
  • rarity symbol;
  • power/toughness box;
  • tasteful fantasy ornamentation matching the character.

The artwork should remain the visual focus. Preserve the character’s face and key identifying details closely. Do not unnecessarily redesign the character.

Make the typography crisp and readable. The result should be a single finished card image, centered, high-detail, elegant, and visually consistent with a premium collectible card.

If the character has an important companion, familiar, summon, mount, construct, or signature object, you may represent it through a token-generating ability, triggered ability, equipment interaction, or another mechanically appropriate effect.

Before finalizing the card, make sure the mana cost is broadly reasonable for the total package of stats, keywords, card advantage, token generation, protection, and repeatable abilities.

For more consistent results, you can also append:

Character information:
Name: [NAME]
Race/species: [RACE]
Class/profession: [CLASS]
Alignment/personality: [PERSONALITY]
Powers/fighting style: [ABILITIES]
Religion/faction: [FACTION]
Important companion: [COMPANION, if any]
Signature traits: [TRAITS]
Preferred MTG colors, if any: [COLORS or “infer them”]
